Paulaner Hefe Weizen 6pk

Paulaner Hefe-Weizen is the company's flagship style and brings the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of Munich's beer gardens to America. It is a classic Bavarian wheat beer. "Hefe" in German translates to yeast and "Weizen" (pronounced Vi-Zen) translates to wheat. Yeast retained in the beer is responsible for the cloudy appearance of Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. A centrifuge process is used with traditional wheat beers to retain the yeast instead of the typical filtering process used with beers that are clear in appearance. Paulaner Hefe-Weizen contains 60% malted wheat and 40% malted barley.

Wheat beer was originated in the German state of Bavaria in the 15th century. In Bavaria today wheat beers represent almost 20% of the beer category and Paulaner is one of the fastest growing at an average rate of nearly 10% per year since 1995.* While the wheat beer segment in the U.S. is much smaller, the style is gaining more attention. The reason why isn't too hard to figure out – wheat beers offer an extremely refreshing taste. Paulaner Hefe-Weizen is refreshment made for relaxing with friends any time of the year.

New Belguim 1554 Bottles 6pk

Other than being dark in color, 1554 has little in common with Porters or Stouts. The beer is fermented at relatively high temperatures using a European lager yeast that imparts a refreshing, zesty acidity. Chocolate and coffee tones in the nose give way to a surprisingly clean finish. With 1554 New Belgium’s staff hoped to create a beer similar to what folks enjoyed nearly five-hundred years ago without ignoring five-hundred years of technological innovation. New Belgium’s hope you’ll agree that 1554 is the delicious result of a lot of well-spent library time.

New Belgium Fat Tire 6pk

Named in honor of our founder Jeff's bike trip through Belgium, Fat Tire Amber Ale marks a turning point in the young electrical engineer's home brewing. Belgian beers use a far broader palette of ingredients (fruits, spices, esoteric yeast strains) than German or English styles. Jeff found the Belgian approach freeing. Upon his return, Jeff created Fat Tire and Abbey Belgian Ale, (assuming Abbey would be his big gun). He and his wife, Kim traveled around sampling their homebrews to the public. Fat Tire's appeal quickly became evident.
